Betrayal

A choked sob came from the crumpled figure lying deathly still on the floor in front of him. Her tattered blonde locks seemed to glow in the moon's dull rays, which leaked eerily into the dank room from a window high above their heads. Her thin, weak hand moved ever so slightly underneath her broken form as she slowly pushed herself into a sitting position. She looked up at the man looming over her with desperate sunken eyes, a fresh layer of crystalline tears beginning to roll down her battered cheeks. When I travel, I tend to doodle things whenever there's a slow moment or when I'm waiting on something... During my trip to Seattle for PAX Prime, this is what I came up with. I don't normally upload these because they're obviously not finished and usually not particularly interesting, but I was actually pretty happy with how this one came out! So I figured I might as well share this with you guys! I may start uploading sketches like this more often, I dunno.

This is my take on a Harpy. Didn't want to stick a mature tag on something so simple, so I just kinda omitted bits that would call for it. There are tutorials out there with worse things! Hahaha.
