Gasp! Something that's not drawing!

Just to explain something... In the far end of the project, the gems are a sort of "Crystal Cave" that you enter from underneath the biggest waterfall.

Well! I'll say right now, a TON of work went into this one... Worked from the moment I woke up, to the moment I went to sleep for three days to get this looking the way I wanted it to. Probably one of the odder things you'll see me uploading, I don't often do crafts like this, haha. It definitely was an experience.

Done for an assignment for my 3D Art class: Basically create your dream garden. This would be it for me! Waterfalls everywhere!

Dimensions: 20 in. x 24 in.

I used blue plastic wrap.. Found it by the gift wrapping section of Hobby Lobby. :) If you want to attempt something like this, you may want to take VeeSwan's suggestion and try using mirrors for the pools of water, I'd imagine that'd get a really neat effect!

That is so cool! Some of the moss looks like it came from the Sequoia trees. I used to actually do this type of work on top of keepsake boxes and use pieces of mirror for the water parts. Your design is very serene and inviting. Lovely work!

I wish I'd thought of using pieces of mirror! Dang! That would have been really cool. Thank you so much, though. I'm glad you like it. :)

Oh but now that you have the concept down, you can! They also make great gift ideas! You can get pre-made wooden and paper boxes that are unpainted and such at Hobby Lobby, maybe you could give it a go! You could even make small trees on the boxes, when they are done, they really make beautiful keepsakes. Your work is gorgeous too so I bet you could come up with a beautiful one!
